1. Collecting Personal Information
Syrmium Management Group collects, uses and discloses personal information in order to serve our clients. “Personal information” means any information about an identifiable individual and includes such information as name, SIN, mailing address, telephone number, birth date, e-mail account as well as credit record and income related information.
Personal Information is gathered in connection with Tenant rental application for the pre-approval process and contact information in the case of emergency.
Except when otherwise permitted by law, we will only use a Client’s Personal Information for the purposes identified to the Client. When Personal Information is to be used for a purpose not identified, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that new purpose is identified prior to use.
2. Disclosing Personal Information
All personal information provided to Syrmium Management Group wiill be used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act.
3. Safeguarding Personal Information
Syrmium Management Group is responsible for the personal information in its custordymor control. We have in place security measures and procedures, as appropriate in the circumstances, to ensure that your personal information is protected from misuse and from unauthorized access.
4. Retention and Destruction
Client Files are retained until no longer required for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy or other statutory requirements, after which time the information will be made anonymous or destroyed.
5. Accessing Person Information and/or Corrections
Syrmium Management Group will keep all personal information as accurately and current as necessary to fulfill the identified purposes for which it was collected. Individuals have the right to access, verify and correct or amend their personal information. Syrmium Management Group encourages individuals to amend inaccuracies in information collected as required.
